BUSINESSTourism: Fatim-Zahra Ammor calls for mobilization for the success of the summer season
Given the importance of the tourist experience in the satisfaction and loyalty of travelers, as well as the popularity currently experienced by the destination Morocco, Fatim-Zahra Ammor, Minister of Tourism, Crafts and the Social and Solidarity Economy, calls for the mobilization of all professionals as well as its central, regional and provincial teams to guarantee the success of the 2023 summer season. In letters Addressed to the presidents of the National Tourism Confederation (CNT), the National Federation of the Hotel Industry (FNIH), as well as all regional and provincial tourism delegates, Fatim-Zahra Ammor raises awareness of the improvement of reception conditions for national and international tourists in terms of infrastructure, prices, as well as the quality of the services provided to them. She also called on her central and relay teams of the ministry at the regional and territorial level to strengthen monitoring and supervision operations on the ground in coordination with local authorities and other competent services. “It is essential to remember that the tourist experience occupies a central place in the 2023-2026 tourism roadmap. In addition to an offer redesigned around the most sought-after experiences, which are broken down into nine thematic tourism sectors, this roadmap underlines the importance of the small details which make all the difference in the tourist experience,” declares the ministry in a press release. “This is why it is essential to combine the efforts of all actors and stakeholders in order to support the current growth of the sector and strengthen Morocco’s position as an essential tourist destination on the international scene,” concludes the ministry.
