A new Mercedes E Class enters the catalog of Auto Nejma, importer of the brand in Morocco. Still very classic, this sixth generation has some good surprises on board by bringing its share of innovations and technologies with thermal and semi-hybrid engines. Since its launch in 1993, the E-Class has quickly established itself as the benchmark luxury sedan in the upper-middle category. In 2023, Mercedes-Benz opened a new chapter in the field of Business sedans with a new E-Class converted to electric.
The new E-Class stands out quite well from the previous generation and adopts new stylistic codes, like its light signature at the front. With its length of 4.95 m (+2 cm compared to the old generation), the new model retains its traditional three-box silhouette. At the rear, the lights are linked together by a strip, reminiscent of the EQ electric models.
Offered in three versions Avantgarde, Luxury and AMG Line, the new E-Class benefits from particularly improved equipment from the first Avantgarde version. The model also features flush doors, the KEYLESS-GO system and Active Distance Control DISTRONIC as standard.
The interior is characterized by a luxurious combination of digital and analogue. The MBUX (Mercedes-Benz User Experience) multimedia system can be operated by voice or through a 12.3” driver’s digital screen and a large 14.4” central multimedia screen. Optional or standard depending on the version, the new Superscreen screen completes the digital equipment with a third 12.3” screen dedicated to the front passenger. More spacious, the new E Class continues to be the benchmark in terms of comfort and modularity.
Concerning the engines available in Morocco, we find the E 220 d diesel and the E 350 e rechargeable gasoline hybrid with a driving range in 100% electric mode of up to 100 km. For its launch, the new E-Class is priced from 649,000 DH including tax (excluding registration fees and applicable proportional duty).
