A complaint was filed against the executive of a company based in France in charge of the establishment’s website. Moroccans are angry with the hotel establishment “Le Relais De Marrakech” located in Douar Oulad Belakid, in the Marrakech region. At the origin of this anger, the appearance of the expression “Western Sahara” on the location map when searching for the establishment on the Internet. Contacted by Kash24, the director of the hotel unit, confirmed the inclusion of the expression “Western Sahara” on the site, while ensuring that the establishment had nothing to do with it. She attributes responsibility to the company (host) in charge of the website, based in France.
After a visit by local authorities to the headquarters of the “Le Relais De Marrakech” establishment, a complaint was filed against the technician working for the company responsible for the inclusion of the expression “Western Sahara,” said the director of the hotel unit. According to him, the company promised to quickly correct the error.
