A sporting incident led to a medical intervention for His Majesty King Mohammed VI. During a physical activity carried out this Sunday, December 8, 2024, the sovereign suffered a fall causing trauma to the left shoulder, leading to a fracture of the humerus. The royal medical team, made up of professors specializing in traumatology, quickly took care of the monarch and carried out a surgical operation at the Royal Palace clinic in Rabat. The intervention was carried out successfully, according to the official press release. Practitioners, including the king’s personal physician, Professor Belyamani Lahcen, provided the necessary treatment. The post-operative period will involve immobilization of the left shoulder for 45 days, followed by a functional rehabilitation phase intended to ensure optimal recovery.
