Iberostar reopens in Agadir

A hotel from the Spanish group Iberostar has just reopened its doors in Agadirafter six months of complete renovation.

“This renovation is part of the ambitious program that the hotel chain implemented six years ago to modernize its entire offering. In January of that same year, Iberostar reaffirmed its commitment and announced an additional investment of 800 million euros in works by 2022,” indicated a group manager during an inaugural ceremony. Inaugurated in 2003, the Iberostar Founty Beach, on the seafront of the first resort in the capital of Souss, has 470 rooms and suites, as well as various dining, entertainment, sports and well-being areas. “The complete renovation operation and redevelopment aim to offer an experience based on excellence, innovation and sustainability,” declared Oum Hani Saaf of Iberstar Maroc, ensuring that the hotel, in an all-inclusive formula, achieves an occupancy rate of up to 90% with a clientele from Europe but also more and more nationals looking for a family vacation. For the Iberostar group, Morocco is an increasingly popular destination due to the wide variety of experiences that the country offers its visitors, with proposals adapting to all types of travelers, he added.

In addition to the Agadir hotel, the chain is also present in Morocco thanks to two other establishments, the Iberostar Saidia and the Iberostar Club Palmeraie Marrakech.
