Tourist activity in Agadir recorded growth of more than 3.21 pc in the month of April compared to the same period of 2017, the number of arrivals having reached 100,847 tourists against 98,683.
According to statistics from the Regional Tourism Council (CRT) of Agadir Souss-Massa, Moroccans come at the top of the clientele of the various tourist accommodation establishments, i.e. a total of 36,715 visitors.
The French market comes in second position with 18,442 tourists compared to 15,651 a year earlier, an increase of 17.83 pc followed by the German market which, nevertheless, showed a clear decline of 28.74 pc, with 8,741 visitors.
Arrivals from the United Kingdom increased, on the other hand, by 2.07 pc to reach 7,932 tourists
