Follow Eco Life on Telegram Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts announces the opening of the Four Seasons Hotel Rabat at Kasr Al Bahr, scheduled for October 1, 2024. This sumptuous Palais de la mer – “Palace by the Sea”, located in the heart of Rabat, combines the elegance of an 18th century royal residence with lush gardens, constituting a true oasis on the edge of the ocean in the city of lights. “Rabat is a city whose time has arrived,” says the hotel’s general manager, Gregory Viaud. “Four Seasons unveils a new era of luxury and glamour, building on its reputation for personalized service with authentic heart. Our team looks forward to showcasing the hotel to visitors and welcoming local residents to a family-friendly venue that has been thoughtfully transformed. » The location of the hotel is particularly strategic: it is located a few minutes from the Kasbah des Oudayas, the Medina and the main business addresses of the Capital. A destination of history and charm The launch of Four Seasons marks the start of a new chapter for the historic Kasr Al Bahr Palace, a magnificent urban resort on the Atlantic coast of Rabat. Having served in the 18th century as the summer palace of Sultan Moulay Slimane, the property was later transformed into a military hospital. Today, the site is regaining its historic charm with the opening of the Four Seasons hotel, thanks to the dedication of partner owners based in the United Arab Emirates. The five-hectare waterfront site includes eleven buildings in total – five new and six historic – which combine authentic historical details with modern design. Families attached to this site and who know its history will be dazzled by its rebirth. “We are thrilled to help revive this 18th-century seaside palace as a Four Seasons hotel,” said Bill O’Regan, CEO of Modon Holding Group. “Inspired by our shared commitment to innovation and excellence, we are proud to see the reveal of the Four Seasons Hotel Rabat at Kasr Al Bahr in Morocco, which is sure to generate colossal interest and create memorable experiences. » “We are delighted to see the upcoming opening of the Four Seasons Hotel Rabat at Kasr Al Bahr,” said H.E.
