Louvre Hotels Group opens a hotel complex in Casablanca

This is a multi-brand hotel project unprecedented in Morocco and Africa. The Louvre Hotels Group announces the opening of a 411-room complex including the Première Classe, Campanile and Kyriad brands in the center of the economic capital.

Built on a plot of more than 2,000 m2, the new hotel complex has been operational since the beginning of September. It is the result of a partnership with the Moroccan tourism investment fund H Partners.

Located avenue Mohammed V, near the Casa Voyageurs and Casa Por stations, the architectural project was designed by architect Amal Salmi El ldrissi, Atelier 6 firm. It thus brings together 124 rooms under the Première Classe brand, 189 rooms under the Campanile brand and 98 rooms under the Kyriad brand.

Three distinct experiences in the same place

Première Classe offers an economical offer which targets local travelers, mainly business, but also young tourists sensitive to value for money.

Campanile is aimed at business travelers as well as leisure tourists. The brand offers work rooms, modern conviviality and sharing spaces, as well as a restaurant and lounge bar open to external customers.

Finally, Kyriad presents a concept of tourist residences in designer and spacious studios, for longer stays and to feel at home. “For the first time in its history, the brand has called on a designer to redesign its furniture. Moroccan Hicham Lahlou has imagined a modern decor for this occasion which transforms the establishment into a true cultural gateway,” indicates the group in a press release.

« The establishment in Morocco of Campanile, Kyriad and Première Classe reflects the innovative strategy carried out by Louvre Hotels Group as part of its development in the Kingdom. The arrival of our historic brands comes in an increasingly dynamic tourist market, where the demand for economical and mid-range hotel products is booming. Casablanca therefore becomes the ambassador city of our hotel excellence in the region and in Africa », declares Andreas Tschnerning, general manager of the group’s international operations.

Africa is a priority for Louvre Hotels Group, which has 26 hotels on the continent and around twenty projects in progress.

The Casablanca hotel complex will operate as a hub within the company’s multi-brand continental network.
