Head to Morocco: authentic and seaside…

index

Morocco is a popular vacation destination for Westerners. A mysterious land blessed by the gods, sunny most of the year, it is a pleasant vacation spot, particularly near Agadir, Casablanca, Rabat, Marrakech and Essaouira. The climate, the landscapes, the possibilities for leisure activities and excursions make this country in North-West Africa an exceptional tourist site to visit as a couple or with family, alone or with friends…
Marrakech: The Pearl of the South

Located inland, Marrakech is not always preferred by vacationers. However, it is one of the most beautiful cities in Morocco with its picturesque or modern architecture, its gardens dating from the 12th century, its palaces, its museums and its souks.
In the heart of the Medina, the old district and historic center of the city listed as a UNESCO world heritage site, there is entertainment during the day and night. During the organized visits, we discover the famous ramparts pierced by century-old gates and the gardens including that of Agdal attached to the Royal Palace. We cross the mellah, a Jewish quarter where passionate craftsmen meet. We sleep and dine in a luxurious Riad enjoying a breathtaking view of the city…
Guéliz is the contemporary part of Marrakech and its business center. Shops, banks and restaurants are grouped there. The prestigious tourist residences and hotel complexes are more likely to be found near the Hivernage district and Avenue Mohammed VI, famous for its Royal Theater and its Palais des Congrès.

Near Marrakech, there is no shortage of curiosities. The Ourika valley leads into the Moroccan High Atlas for unique mountain excursions. The Toubkal National Park allows you to observe protected animal species such as the golden eagle or the booted eagle.

Agadir: a famous seaside resort

Agadir is located in the southwest of Morocco on the Atlantic coast. Bathed by the sun 300 days a year, distinguished by its stretches of white sand beaches, this enchanting city offers dream stays between nautical activities and relaxation. The very recent Marina is the ideal place to go on a cruise for a few hours or a few days… From the promenade laid out over several kilometers, the seafront and the majestic and infinite bay appear. Nearby, the port, always lively, invites you to discover the local wonders. By the sea, leisure activities are varied. Two hours on the back of a camel leave unforgettable memories…

Agadir is exotic and captivating. You can visit it on foot or aboard a small train. When the temperatures become milder, visitors like to explore the different districts: the city center and the famous zoo called the Valley of the Birds, the Talborjt district where the Mohammed V mosque and the Ibn Zaydoun garden are located, residential districts such as the Bay of Palms known for its large hotels and luxury villas, the Casbah with its ancient and typical features, the Souk and the Medina…
Essaouira: land of a thousand and one nights…

Located 173 km from Agadir, Essaouira, formerly Mogador, is a seaside town on the Atlantic coast. A city dedicated to tourism, it offers multiple activities by the sea or inland. Surf schools are on the rise. Windsurfing and Kitesurfing are practiced by enthusiasts. Various competitions reveal new talents every year. However, vacationers enjoy sunbathing on the beach and refreshing swims above all else. The climate of Essaouira is mild and pleasant in all seasons. In summer, it’s 25°C… The hotels provide shuttles to the most beautiful sites, to the medina listed as a UNESCO world heritage site, to the ramparts remarkable for the Portuguese cannons that overlook them, to the bustling port where fishermen flock… A jewel of local heritage, the Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah museum, housed in a typical 19th century building, tells the story of Essaouira since the Paleolithic era.
Those who want adventure and sport will enjoy camel or horseback riding, hiking in the dunes, thuja or argan forests and quad expeditions on the slopes or in the countryside.
