The French-speaking channel TV5 Monde pays tribute to Morocco through programs dedicated to the kingdom, from December 2 to 9, 2012.

Thus, after Egypt, Tunisia and Algeria, the daily program “L’Invité” and two special issues of the magazine “Maghreb-Orient Express”will be devoted to Morocco.
On the occasion of the Marrakech International Film Festival, of which TV5MONDE is a partner, the daily show “L’Invité” sets up its cameras in the heart of the City of Marrakech. Patrick Simonin will receive, every day, the personalities who are making the news at the Festival. On the program, intimate 8-minute interviews to be found on all TV5MONDE signals and which will be broadcast from Monday to Friday at 6:30 p.m.
On behalf of the show Maghreb-Orient Express which is also in tune with the FIFM, Mohamed Kacireceives, on December 2, Bouchra Ouizgen, choreographer and dancer, whose show “Madame Plaza” was one of the events ofDaba Maroc, the Moroccan cultural season in Belgium; Fedwa Misk, journalist and founder of “Qandisha”, the country’s first collaborative women’s magazine; and directorNour-Eddine Lakhmari.
On December 9, Mohamed Kaci goes to meet those who make Morocco today in the world of culture and media with Lamia Berrada-Berca, writer who published this year “One Same Night Awaits Us All”; Haoussa, musical group precursor of Moroccan punk; Karim Boukhari, director of the French-speaking weekly “Tel Quel” and Naima Zitan, director, she was inspired by Eve Ensler’s “Vagina Monologues”, for her show in Darija, “Dialy”.
Remember that TV5MONDE, which will vibrate for a week to the rhythm of Morocco, is the 1st French-language channel in Morocco, both in terms of notoriety and audience.
