The speakers at this meeting, held in the presence of the wali of the region, Mohamed Faouzi, affirmed that the World Cup of Champions Clubs must absolutely keep its festive, popular character and open to the entire population of Marrakech.

The competition will kick off on December 11 at the Grand Stade d’Agadir, with the match between Raja Casablanca, representing the organizing country, and the champion of Oceania, Auckland City FC. The final will be played at the Grand Stade de Marrakech on December 21.

These are the winners of the UEFA Champions League (Union of European Football Associations), the Copa Libertadores (CONMEBOL- South American Football Confederation), the CAF Champions League (Confederation of African Football), the AFC Champions League (Asian Football Confederation), the CONCACAF Champions League (the Confederation of North, Central American and Caribbean Football) and the OFC (Oceania Football Confederation) Champions League, in addition to the champion club of the tournament host country.
